Want to know why Duke got a bunch of free throws in the 2n half? That's why.

Jones will be a lottery pick next year. Wisconsin's guards, outside of Jackson, who barely played in the 2nd half, will be going pro in something else.

You think Koenig or Gasser could guard Tyus Jones? Or Allen?

Wisconsin, outside of Dekker and Hayes, is NOT athletic. Duke exploited their weakness, and Duke's small lineup ate the plodding, slow Wisconsin team up.

Deal with it

In a championship-type game when two teams are about even, always go with the better guard play.

But to be fair, where the hell did Grayson Allen come from?

Impressive performance by Allen and Jones....and Allen more than Jones. He was the guy who got them back in the game.

Please do more "duke gets all the calls" sarcasm posts. Clearly the people that know that to be true and were proven correct again tonight don't know what they're talking about.

You know what else gets a bunch of free throws? Big men banging in the paint. Kentucky had an army of big men this year and was among the national leaders in FTA per game. How many did they get 2 days ago against Wisconsin?

Sorry, I wasn't trying to slam Wisconsin. Great team. But they beat Kentucky by forcing them to slow to their pace. Didn't happen down the stretch tonight. Duke took advantage of their natural advantage over Wisconsin.

Which makes wisconsin dumb for jacking up 3's when duke's bigs were in foul trouble. They weren't aggressive enough down low down the stretch.

I was rooting for Wisconsin, but Open Your Eyes

Yea, the refs caused HOF-lock Sam Dekker to pull a disappearing act and airball a bunch of three pointers. He could have won the game for them had he not sucked.

1. Please tell me what that has to do with how many free throws Kentucky and their endless rotation of 7 footers shot saints Wisconsin 2 days ago.

2. Duke was a better team tonight with okafor on the bench. What good would it have done to get him fouled out?

Truth. Duke's small lineup won it for them. They may have gotten a good call in their favor, but the momentum was swung by the guards. No refs can explain why Duke came back from 9 down. The two bad/questionable calls happened AFTER Wisconsin gave up a big lead that should have cemented their win.

Just like the refs caused top 2 nba draft pick Jahlil okafor to be a non factor in this game and his team to play better when he was on the bench?

You can deflect all you want, it just makes it more obvious you're running from the truth. As a duke fan I don't even understand why you're offended by people pointing out that your team gets obvious preferential treatment from referees. It's not hurting you or your team in any way

Does everyone have short term memory? Didn't wisconsin get a crucial basket aginst Kentucky after the shotclock expired/

UNC almost beat Wisconsin. UNC isn't that good. Wisconsin can't guard quicker guards. Duke has quicker guards. maybe lock down the perimeter so Grayson Allen can't waltz to the basket and you won't lose.

Wiscosins guards weren't that bad but they didn't manage the game as well as you'd like down the stretch. Part of it is talent, part of it is their system. Those guys were running a set offense and dribble handoffs with 15 secs on the clock. Bo has handcuffs on his guys, and it's partially why dekker could never get anytnjg off the bounce within the offense. Those guys are program to pass the ball unless there is a clear mismatch, open shot or path the basket. It works with his older teams and teams with less talent, however it's horrible misuse of next level talent when you have it

1. Blocking foul on an and 1 for jones when he jumped sideways into a defender in position
2. Charging call jones drew on a ridiculous flop
3. Blocking call Winslow got when he was completely out of control and ran into a defender that was already in his position

All 3 were incorrect calls, all 3 happened DURING duke's run.

They may have gotten a good call

The two bad/questionable calls

The fact that you're so insecure about the preferential treatment your team receives from the referees that you can't even admit 2 unequivocally blown calls happened is just... I don't even know

Yes they did. Do we need to go through the extremely long list of calls that duke has gotten through the years. I'm not sure I have enough time for that.

Unc was closer to beating duke at Cameron in the regular season. What is your point exactly?

So you've moved on from deflecting, and are now just completing ignoring the fact that Kentucky shot 2 free throws against this same team 2 days ago, right?
