On phone so no link but at least this makes the East race more interesting with the Bulls getting everyone back and possibly going into the playoffs fully healthy

If he comes back I hope he just straight kills it and wins an NBA title. I know, I know. It would just be nice. I feel bad for him.

That is the only thing that will save his public image.

Think they will have some issues with chemistry. Lot of injuries to this team and they have role guys that have gotten used to taking a bigger role. Not sure everything will click this close to the playoffs.

He honestly wasn't all that great when he was healthy earlier this season. I mean he was good, but not even close to MVP caliber play. He had a few monster games but was generally really inefficient.
This (probably) won't hurt the Bulls chances at a title, but this isn't going to be like LeBron coming back to the cavs after his two week break earlier this year.

His brother isn't shutting him down again? Damn

No it's not but the Bulls need DRose to have a shot of making it to the Finals.

Yeah, chemistry can be an issue, but I don't think any coach would say having an extra scorer is a bad thing.

I feel sorry for him for getting injured, but his attitude and effort to get back on the court has been joke considering how much money he is getting paid.

the return of rose soon to be followed by the fall of rose

Aaron Brooks is starting for them at PG, I don't think chemistry will be an issue with Rose coming back

The bigger issue for the Bulls in the playoffs will be splitting minutes for Noah, Gasol, Gibson, and Mirotic.

D Rose is basically their 3rd-4th best player now behind Jimmy Butler, Pau Gasol, and maybe Noah.
From an offensive standpoint, Pau and Butler.
The only problem is he still thinks he's their #1 scoring option.

As a Chicagoan, for parade purposes I want
1-Cubs (city would meltdown)
2-Bears (Bears fans are psychotic)
3-Bulls (from what I heard of the Jordan days, those celebrations were tops)
4-Blackhawks (its getting old)
Last-White Sox (Those fans are terrible people)
Not sure this relates to the thread so.... I really hope D Rose wins one before his knees die for good. He seems like a really decent person and hometown-boy.

quote:Yeah. D-Rose averages 19.6 FGA per 36. Of the players that actually logged significant minutes that places him fifth and puts him behind only Westbrook, Kobe, Carmelo, and Aldridge.
The only problem is he still thinks he's their #1 scoring option.
For comparison purposes (elite players), Lebron averages 18.6 and Curry averages 18.4. They both average 25.7 points per 36 compared to Rose's 21.3 (good for 22nd). Basically, they take 1+ fewer shots than Rose yet average 4.4 more points. In addition, compared to Rose, Lebron average 1.4 more assists per 36 while Curry averages 2.8 more.
So when playing, D-Rose shoots at a rate higher than elite players, but does not have the productivity to justify his shooting.

Some people just want to miss training camp..... guess Rose wants to miss the regulat season and just play in the playoffs
