I really don't get the responses from the post-game crew. I guess it makes sense if you think they're trying to keep the series as interesting as possible, but Barkley and crew don't seem to be company guys, at least IMO

On NBA TV Rick Fox and Brent Barry toed the line as well.

Webber was on Mike and Mike and he basically said he shouldn't be suspended but the intention and result were worse than what Jones did.

I guess players are going to give other players the benefit of the doubt, and they don't want to advocate for a suspension unless something is blatant, but this is pretty tough to defend.

Well sure, but not at the expense of making asinine statements. I mean Shaq suggested the Flagrant 1 was too much, and Kenny and Barkley said that you have to give him that because regardless of intent, he kicked a man in the groin. All 3 agreed that it was unintentional and thus no suspension is warranted. If they truly believe that, I think it is the former player in them coming to another player's defense more so than some desire to see this series go to 6-7. At least I hope that is the case.

Well, another consideration is that if (when)Draymond plays, is he the same guy next game?

He knows the entire world has him under a microscope and anything he does now will be dissected. Can a subdued Draymond even be effective? He goes a long way on hustle and activity.

Yea, that's crazy.

I can't watch it and fathom how anyone would think it was unintentional.

I thought the funniest part of all this was Kerr's press conference. He basically was insinuating that if one thought it was intentional, how could it just be a flagrant 1? Caught himself and instead went "uhm.. play the game"

Yeah, Kerr is a sharp guy. He's appealing to accomplishment, in that if you think it was intentional, then it's obviously because you haven't played the game and your opinion is invalid.

I mean I can't blame him though. He has to stick up for his guy.

Yeah someone mentioned that in the in-game thread - it's either a flagrant 2 or not a flagrant at all. If it's intentional, he's gone. If it's not intentional, then it's a no call.

The TNT crew took a different approach and basically said the flagrant 1 is necessary because regardless of intention, a man was kicked in the groin, so something needs to happen. I don't like that approach though and I'd prefer they either rescind it or upgrade it, but leaving it as is would be a cop put.

WHAT. Draymond sold the call? I dont get wht hes saying

Unless hes admitting it was intentional and he tried to sell it as an accident? But that seems like a terribly stupid thing to say.

yea, i love how the warriors act like they're above everything.

they really are just so pompous, arrogant, etc. and sure, they are the champs, so that's part of it. but the smug way curry acts on the court, draymond's tough guy act... it just gets kinda old. i feel like they're trying too hard sometimes.

then kerr getting up there and saying that draymond's flagrant 1 should be rescinded when he was asked if he thought the nba would maybe suspend draymond after reviewing it? are you kidding me dude?

i might have small opinions either way on how teams/players act or whatever, but it really doesn't bother me. what does bother me is when people hate on guys like lebron for being arrogant or a douche, and then turn around and love the warriors when they are one of the douchiest acting teams in the league. makes no sense.

You'd think he'd show some contrition just for the fact that he kicked another guy in the balls, intentional or not. Getting overly indignant and pointing fingers elsewhere just makes him look worse. You kicked another player in the balls.

BTW I'm reading Warrior fans reaction to him. I'm shocked by how many of them also think it was intentional and are fed up with his act.

Not really. No one likes to lose. When you lose, the criticisms are coming. When you win, they defend you.

I pray every night that the Warriors lose. Green is a thug POS and I'm so tired of Curry and that stupid mouthpiece he has hanging out his mouth. If he got kicked in the balls the NBA would ban that player for life.

Outside of the true Warriors fans and Lebron haters, this may have a shot at being a dying breed.

Its pretty simple really.

Dont let the players "flail".

These pro athletes can twist and turn their bodies when driving to the rim but cant control one leg when they are in the act of shooting?

Who doesnt get sick of a player when he loses the ball or gets stopped just flail his arms out and legs out like he just got drop kicked int he back? Its ridiculous.

Get rid of flailing and the game moves smoother and quicker, with no "unintentional" shots.

Green is looking up toward the ball or basket in both photos rather than where he is making contact with Adams. It is hard to definitively determine Green was intentionally kicking Adams in the nuts when Green wasn't looking at where he was kicking.
