I guess they are about to lay the hammer down on Southern Miss.
I've never seen an athletic program so dis-served by its employees than theirs. They have one losing football season (after like 20 straight good seasons) and they go broke.
And now this.

Wonder why the NCAA is so focused on teams like Southern Miss when NC is ripe.

He wasn't fired. He decided to leave after fans gave him hell earlier in the season. After he had success in the tournament he decided to make a move.

But he can't coach. He has only made the tourney 2 times in 20 years of being a HC

Tyndall was busted, then he allegedly lied to the NCAA, which made it worse. For Tenn to fire him probably means a show cause penalty is coming down the pipe for Tyndall. Probably also means they fired him for free, since I bet they had an out for just this type of situation

yeah that was written poorly what I meant was they have an out for what he may/may not have done before his stint at Tenn as well. Not just what he did at Tenn like Pearl
