He will do well. I expect a few hiccups though.

We've got quite the receiving corp too. He is going to have a lot of weapons.

Marcus Mariota won the Heisman Trophy and totaled 57 touchdowns.

I fully expect Oregon to take a step back. He had an incredible three-year run at Oregon.

ETA: how big (or small) of a step back remains to be seen. System or not, it is unfair to expect Oregon quarterbacks to pick up where Mariota left off.

This is a team game though and Mariota had a true frosh lead rushing, and threw to a basically new receiving corp, with our starting OL having 11 different starting combination in 11/13 games.

Oregon doesn't need Mariota skills at the qb spot. Adams skills could actually open up the offense because his deep ball is amazing. We have the OL and rb corp to run like crazy.

No, it won't.

Oregon's front seven stuffed their run and the entire front seven is senior now with more depth. This will be closer than you think.

ETA: thank you for picking against us and big as well!

I didn't say they would lose... But will now......

MSU wins going away..The Ducks won't be as good as most thik on here... I see three losses at least.. System is a system...

Depends on if Adams can deliver and if the defense can fill the departures. I expect Oregon to be in the PAC12 conversation. But I expect Arizona St to win the conference.

We're talking about the ceiling here and I see a high ceiling for this team. The problem is the floor is lower.

As for the defense, the departures are filled. I expect to regress at corner but everywhere else will be much better.

Isn't Adams in some legal or scholastic trouble?

Legal no...scholastic issue is done. He is cleared and playing. He just participated in the scrimmage.

There won't be a big drop off but they'll drop a little without Mariota

Didn't he miss the first few practices of camp too? I'm excited to see this guy in y'all's offense.
