They have to pad their schedule to play cupcakes at home early in the season.
They will not go play a national power early in the season at a neutral site for obvious reasons. LSU will travel anywhere and play anyone, anytime. OSU not so much.

1) You mean AQ schools. All FBS schools are BCS schools.
2) In 2012, most AQ schools go on the road regularly to play non-conference games, and the ones that don't are the exceptions. Florida is the worse. They haven't played an out-of-state road game in over 20 years, and the last time they did, the got their asses kicked by Syracuse. Also, remember that Waashington's trip to Tiger Stadium was a return visit.

Show me the last SEC team your TOSU seeked out to play. The only win and I mean ONLY win OSU has had against an SEC foe over the last 12 years was in the Sugar Bowl against LSU's red headed step bitch (that win was vacated, btw).

tOSU played 'O5 Texas and '08 USC when almost nobody wanted to schedule USC.

We destroyed Oregon last year at a neutral site and gave up 2 touchdowns in the last 6 minutes to leave with a 12 point victory. No other school with hopes of tip toeing through their candy arse conference wants to play a SEC power for any reason. Times have changed my friend.
