Like the Astros? Who have been rebuilding for 10 years now. I'm watching Nola pitch right now and even the announcers ate talking about the guys bat and the color of the tape on it. To many announcers. To many teams.

Shouldn't that say something about the MLB...

Just an odd thing to say imo

Seems like a normal statement. People are likely to be ignorant of a sport that they have no vested interest in. I'm from a city with no NBA and I hate the NBA. Does that say anything about the NBA?

You right I know nothing about baseball. I didn't follow the Astros my whole life and hate the braves. I watched since Mike Scott and Nolan Ryan pitched. Alan Ashby. Glen Davis. Jose Cruz. Cesar Cedano and the most under rated second baseman of the 80's Bill Doran. But yeah I don't know nothing about it.. Post list idiot.

Why not fold the Jags/Browns/Raiders etc?

Are you on drugs? The amount of young talent in baseball is the best it's been since the mid '50s. There's a ton of parity because talent is so evenly spread out and small market teams like the Royals and Pirates are thriving. If any league needs contraction, it's the NFL. That league has teams like the Bills, Raiders, Jaguars, Browns who are bad year after year and never get better.

I've heard that response to someone who said they don't like the NBA.

Just thought it seemed odd. There are plenty of baseball fans here that don't have a MLB team in their city.

Yeah, let's take away the one Chicago team that has won something in the last 100 plus years, and the 2nd most successful AL team since divisional play began in 1969. That's real smart.

Yes there are too many teams in MLB. I doubt we see a reduction but it would make the game better at all levels of pro ball
