Do you think Wichita State can win the NCAA tournament?

I'll be shocked if they stay undefeated and win it all.

Theyve got experience from last year when they made a deep run. I think it's possible bur not likely.

Would looove to see it happen though

of course. they're one of the best teams in the country.

but, naturally, people will proudly say they called them losing and that wichita was overrated in the likely event that they don't win

It's difficult to negotiate the NCAA tourney when your regular season consists of

A. No losses and
B. A conference full of cupcakes

They can win one game but can they get kicked in the gut 6 consecutive times and get up every time? How can anyone say yes, they haven't been tested. They lose in Sweet 16 if I had to bet on it.

Mid-major conference teams win the NCAA tournament every year? Because that's what was asked.

they have good enough athletes to not get out-athleted like most of these teams. i don't think they get further than a regional final which would still be a heck of a year.

They made the Final Four last year, and gave Louisville fits in the semi final.

So, yes, they can win it all.

It won't be the same without the St Joes eagle flapping the entire game back when they were on top of the world.

Van Vleet is good enough to carry them like Khalid El Amin did UConn and Heyward did Butler

They have everything but a dominant go to scorer so I would favor them over any team that doesn't play elite defense

No, but plenty have "negociated" the tourney.

And my point was to refute your whole post
