Don't really root for him, but make sure I watch when he runs. I still wish we would see him finish a race. Dude has slowed down every race so far.

Is love to see him just flat out run and not look around. I think he is passed his prime, but still faster than anyone else.

You do realize you don't have to root for people because they're American right?

I usually pull for the underdogs.I pulled against Jordan up until the end of his career. Always pull against Lebron cus he's a douche. That said, I pull for Bolt bc he's the fastest Mfer on the planet, I enjoy to be able to watch history.

I was rooting for Gatlin to hold on and beat him.

I do not like showboats...but Bolt is the rarest of rare breeds and the GOAT.

I do not miss his races...and happy enough when he wins.

The dude is simply amazing.

First half of the race I was jumping up and down for Gatlin to hold on. Didn't think about it but it just came natural.

It was and is awesome to see history though. Bolt seems like a good guy and I'm happy that I was alive to watch his greatness.

Yes and no.
I wanted Gatlin to win the 100 but not disappointed to see Bolt win.

He seems like a likeable guy, so I will root for him, but I will always root for an American to beat him.

Has he surpassed Bob Marley as the most famous Jamaican of all time?
What the hell do I know about Jamaica, but I gotta think there's no way he has.

I mean, Bob Marley stopped a Civil War, from my understanding.

I like Bolt and have been a huge fan of his, BUT his looking around (disrespecting his opponents) is starting to get annoying.

I really wish Andre De Grasse would have passed him up when he slowed down too soon in the 200m semis.

Sidenote: frick JUSTIN GATLIN for doing the same shite. Who the frick do you think you are? And it cost your arse. Made America look bad and stereotypical (unwarranted cockiness). And the rest of the world has to be laughing at him for that.

I agree. I don't have to like a guy just because he's American.
