He sucks. Especially now that his recruits are taking the field. They don't really do anything well.

I think they're about to turn on him. He's the dude that had to clean up the Nevan Shapiro shite stains.

As an outside observer, I think he's a decent coach and gets a lot out of his players, but his recruiting ability is terrible for a program like Miami.

I think the Golden sheen is wearing off. I also think the fans are looking at the school's administration too. The school administration hasn't done all they can to make sure the football program is competitive and that same administration hasn't put any heat on Golden to make coaching changes on his staff.

He tried to clean up the program. Problem is they can't win that way. They need that swagger and he wants to be clean cut.

God no. Won't say he's terrible but his staff choices suck which is why everyone wanted him leaving for psu. In his defense school won't pay for best assitants

This is part of it. In the past, a lot of the blue chip recruits would choose Miami solely because of the "mystique" and "swagger" of Da U. Now that those days are long gone, Miami is a bit of hard sell for recruits considering their lack of fan and administrative support.

That's what Butch Davis did there, relatively.

They brought in Butch to clean up the program and he did, relative to the 80's-90's. Remember the guys from the 80's bitching about him at the end of the U 30 for 30.

I remember when we stole Alex Collins from them, reading their board, they thought they were gods gift to football and couldn't believe he'd pick Arkansas, and then that they didn't need him and to trust Golden. They loved him in 2013, he had full support of everyone and they truly beloved he was a great coach that was going to turn them back into a power.

Main gets cherry picked by the big dogs of the SEC year in year out now. Miami needs to put up a Florida version of the Great Wall of China from Port St Lucie to Port Charlotte

The dumbass signed his own death warrant when he started that true freshman. He should have thrown heaps in. He was the veteran QB and could have led the team to victory.
