I guess you call dealing with the NCAA investigation "getting away with crimes", but his play never dropped at all.
I'm not calling it that. I am saying that. And it isn't adversity. That's him dealing with his own bullshite. He did come back from a big defecit against Bama, although he didn't force any Bama turnovers, but lets give him all the credit.

Everytime some goober brings up this tired old line of him "dealing with adversity" everyone knows exactly what they are talking about and that is the "investigation" or lack of. What a joke. It took years to investigate USC but only a couple of days to clear Cam. Please.

Dude got away with it, everyone knows it. Everyone needs to stop trying to act like he pushed himself through it. That's like everyone telling me how awesome I'm doing at work while I'm on trial for my 5th DUI.

Ok, whatever on your explanation of him staying focused and playing well when all the MSU-Cecil stuff broke. I don't agree with you on that. Auburn came back in numerous games because of the way Cam played in the second halves of those games. Clemson, South Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama were all examples of games that he led Auburn back to a win. All of the off the field stuff aside, when Auburn needed the guy to perform, he did it.

No argument about his playing ability while at AU. I just don't call coming back in a game dealing with adversity. And that is not what any of the sports talking heads are referring to either when they talk about him dealing with adversity while at Auburn. They are specifically talking about him dealing with the allegations and still managing to play at a high level.

Anyway, I think it is way to early to call him a bust in the NFL, even though I predicted he would be and still hope he is.

BTW, everyone likes to talk about how Auburn doesn't win 8 games without Cam. Then when you try to give him credit for leading the team back for wins in numerous games, you don't want to do that either. It's obvious you just don't like the guy and you can't make an unbiased comment about him. Let's just call a spade a spade.

I'll go ahead and give my criticisms about him. He needs to learn how to deal with a loss, specifically just grow up in general. He needs to get more of a team mentality. When you're getting thrashed, don't celebrate TDs. Just walk off the field. Don't refer to yourself ever in third person. I would cringe when he did that at Auburn. He hasn't been clutch in the NFL. He needs to work on his mental preparation. It looks like the pressure is getting to him.

What have I typed that would lead you to conclude otherwise? I don't know how anyone could have an unbiased opinion of him.

It's not hard for me to have an unbiased opinion of any athlete. There's plenty I don't like, but I can still put that aside when making an observation about someone.

Examples? Or is it just because I have the AU logo beside my username? I provided details to why I disagreed with some posts and also gave my own criticisms of him based on what I've seen.

Listen, I like Cam. I can't even hate on the guy because of his sheer talent. He's incredible, and I think he'll be fine in the NFL.

That being said, y'all don't need to defend him ad nauseum.

Clearly he's got a lot of growing up to do. He needs to become a leader in deed before he can ever be a leader in action.

I think that he was humbled when he arrived at Auburn, coming from a JUCO. Now he has "arrived" in his mind when he hasn't done anything at this level.

I agree with about everything you've posted. The only reason I even got involved in this thread is because some guy said he doesn't work hard and I provided examples showing the opposite. I guess when I see something that's just completely inaccurate, then I'm going to post about it. I don't really care what it's about.

here's one example of Cam's immaturity or lack of awareness..

Before the game against the Saints you see Cam running around the field like a retarded kid pretending he's an airplane.

I guess Drew Brees is immature for barking like a dog at his teammates before each game? Lord, how do people get to be so dumb?

Well he did lead the offense to 28 points in 2.5 quarters which is over 3x the amount of points LSU's best team ever could put on Saban in two games and an overtime.
