Did Belichick tell Brady not to snap ball when pinned back on own goal.

Belichick was talking on sidelines with Brady before they ran the play when Seahawks where called off sides. Looked like they were trying to draw them off sides. What say you.

Probably? That's just smart football to do that

Clearly trying to draw them. That's why the center didn't snap it while Tom was patting him over and over. It was a smart play

You figure that out all by yourself?

Obviously.

Snapping the ball right there had plenty of risks. First off, I think the ball should have been spotted at the 2 instead of the 1. But considering they would have either gone with the sneak or just have Brady run around in the endzone and take the safety, trying to draw wasn't a risky call. Half a yard back wouldn't have mattered at that point.

Not sure why you think this. They were penalized after the interception for unsportsmanlike conduct and it was pushed back half the distance to the goal.

The center appeared to do a fake move like he was going to snap it, I thought that was not allowed

They can move their head up and down. Just can't move the ball or the snap hand.

They were deciding what to do. Maybe take a safety QB sneak right or left etc.
That was all Brady pulling them offsides and ending what Seattle hope was left. The man is something else. U mad bro.

They had to know an aggressive defense like Seattle's would be super jumpy on the snap, trying to get the ball back. Was almost guaranteed that they would jump.

Every half way decent team in football goes on a hard count when backed up by your own endzone. The negative is that you lose 1 or 2 yards if you jump offside. But if you draw the defense offsides you gain 5 yards.

There's an entire city in the desert that thrives by playing odds like that.

After the play we had a few people at my house screaming why did the Seahawks do that, and I said no way Brady was going to have the center snap the ball. One guy was looking at me like I was crazy.

Not they, my friend; Tom Brady knew. And like everything else lets give Bill Belichick the credit.SMH

The moment is never too big for Brady.

Both his losses in Super Bowls, he was standing on the sideline after throwing the go ahead TD. It was billy's defense that couldnt hold and it looked like a repeat again.

I think Brady wouldve been done with Billy, if it had happened again. I mean if u are the HC and the defensive guru u claim to be and u take defense in every draft with your first picks, make a big stop when it counts.

Take a timeout when the other team is on the 1 yd line, 2nd a goal inside of a minute, then draft an offensive player for Brady just once before u die and wear a shirt that says I am Malcolm Butler, he saved your arse.
