They either know they have Revis, or know he's gone.
Either way, I think Revis has made his decision.

Hmmm.
Looks like Kraft might have ultimately made the phone call and finished the negotiation.

Agreed, it's one or the other.

I just always thought "there's no way Belicheck lefts Mcourty out of his sights, that's his guy"
Until all these reports saying he was getting insane contract offers start coming out

Lol yeah terrible wording on my part, but I was trying to say I think they know 100% what Revis is going to do.

So where does that leave Revis?

Big money.
He's not cheap, but there's only 3 safeties you can run a true single high look with and he's one of them.
Oh, and just for shits, doesn't this make DA RAIDAAAAAHS 0/3 on the big names so far?

I think that's still less than Earl Thomas got last year so I'll gladly take it

I like McCourty and think he will age better than Thomas... that being said Thomas right now is the better player so I'd hope he'd take less :D

I just meant that they are the top 2 safety's in the league so it's a contract that makes sense money wise for his talents. It wasn't an overpay

Devin McCourty contract terms with Patriots, per source: 5 years, $47.5 million, including $28.5 million in total guarantees.
That's the real contract details per Mike Reiss.

OP said 5 / 60 right?
Yep, that was the first released number, but it's 5/47.

I gotcha. 5/47 is much better.

Is McCourty the #2 safety in the NFL? I like Weddle and have a bias for Harrison Smith.
