quote:OK, and? Peyton Manning has lead a furious comeback in every game we've lost. And that was against the best teams in the league this year (Texans, Falcons, and Pats). I'm just saying these losses aren't bad, and the record doesn't show how good the Broncos are this year.
It was 31-7 at one point.
Especially with the way Manning is playing.
Aside from the first quarter against Atlanta in Week 2, Peyton Manning has not thrown an interception this season. Throw out the one bad quarter, and Manning has completed 92-of-143 passes (64.3 percent) for 1,117 yards (7.81 YPA), and an 8:0 TD-to-INT ratio through four games.
quote:That's what I'm saying. He's ripping defenses apart.
Manning is playing great though.
OK, and? Peyton Manning has lead a furious comeback in every game we've lost.
We have the Saints, Chargers (2), Bengals, Panthers, Chiefs (2), Bucs, Raiders, Ravens, and Browns coming up on the schedule.
Credit Peyton for his great 2nd half/4th quarters, but the Broncos have been down pretty big in all their losses. That defense needs to get much better consistently if they want to make the playoffs.
quote:The defense did carry the team at the end of last year, but it was mainly because we didn't face any strong offenses. The Broncos would be win-less with Tebow at this point.
BUT, BUT the defense carried the team last year! Tebow did nothing!
