Rosenhaus has filed a grievance against Jackson for repayment of $400,000 in loans. Per the report, Jackson borrowed the money from Rosenhaus from November 2009 through March 2012.

On Tuesday, Jackson danced around questions regarding the possibility that he’ll hire Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports agency “You never know. What do you think? I don’t know. It might be.”

Is there any way this guy, who Rosenhaus got a 5 year, $47m contract for last season, won't be broke within 10 years of being out of the league?

I don't think he'll be broke.

He's not a bad dude. Just says and does dumb stuff sometimes.

Kid went to Cal-Berkeley....

not too many Vince Young's can be accepted into that school.

It's not Stanford.....but you get the idea.

...or I could be way off.

He's an arse clown. I have no idea what he'll do with his money but why the hell would he fire Rosenhaus?

@ the perception of Cal

Remember Prop 48?

They were one of the few schools in the Pac 10 who accepted all those Prop 48 athletes -

"Prop 48" - an athlete who failed to score 700 on the SAT and is ineligible as a freshman but can be accepted by a University despite not meeting the NCAA minimum academic standards.

81% of Cal's men's basketball and football were special admissions in the survey year of 1990.

(USC didn't accept Prop 48 students and I don't think UCLA did either.)

That 47 mil is a shiny turd. Its a really bad contract for Jackson, he only has 400k guarenteed left on the deal so hell likely be cut after this season and wont see half that money, which is why he fired Rosenhouse in the first place

Would mean he made ~$17m over two seasons and got to hit FA again at 27 instead of 30. Seems pretty good to me for a WR of his caliber.

The way the market is now, hitting Free Agency isnt really a good thing.

If I went to a football program instead of a university, I'd say the same thing.

In 1990 that was 700/1600 not 2400. I still agree, 50% of the possible points is not asking too much of anyone.

half of $47M over like 3 years is a good contract for a WR of his caliber

Yeah but back then, a student who didn't answer a single question received 200 points while a student who answered all 800 incorrectly received a 0 score.

So if you feel you couldn't reach 700 - you could just sign your name and walk away with 200 points and be a Prop 48 student.
