Astros go for the series win over the Jays today and...

The Astros have placed IF Jesus Guzman on the 15-day DL with back spasms. OF Domingo Santana has been recalled from Triple A.

Welcome back Domingo!

Guys I just watched the replay of Folty's debut.

4 seam Fastballs at 96, 97, 99 mph

2 seam fastballs at 94, 95, 98

Holy schnikes how can you not be fired up about this kid?

But the Astros can't win unless Ryno starts the DAT.

Posted this late last night in the other DAT and didn't want it to get lost.

Perspective: #Astros were 15 games under .500 on May 10, meaning this has been a near-.500 team for about 3 months. Nice trend line.

If they continue at that pace they can finish with 70 wins. Sure that still isn't good, but would be a 19 game improvement over last season.

Just watched the highlights of last nights game. What a great one! Altuve scoring from first on bad throws, Castro hitting bombs, Carter continuing to crush, an inside the park homerun, Hoes making a catch in the stands, Grossman robbing a HR, Folty making his debut and hitting 99 on the gun....

That might have been the most fun game of the year!

At the game today. Hope we didn't use all the offense yesterday. Listening to the 10th inning show on the way home from work yesterday, they said it was probably the most exciting game of the year. I missed it because I had to work.

At least this past few weeks without Springer we have not completely fallen apart. I think we have been around .500.

Yeah but it's pretty encouraging to be playing around .500 ball with 4 outfielders on the DL

I have to say that this team resembles nothing like last years team, regardless of the lack of offense at times. Regardless of what some people say.

You judge a club by trends, and the imaginary arrows all point up.

That'll be two series wins in a row vs playoff teams if they win today.

So I fully expect them to lose to any other teams with losing records. fricking Jeckyl and Hyde team.

When is Springer due back?
