Any good bars in Metarie/New Orleans to watch the game

If you can pinpoint where you'll be, I can recommend more places. Here's a quick list

Downtown
World of Beer - Franchise, Pricey, but lots of TVs
The District - No food, decent beer selection, lots of TV's, good spot for drinks and sports

Uptown
Bayou Beer Garden - Great Patio, good beer, bar food, may be crowded
Cooter Browns - Tons of TVs, good food, plenty of seating

Metairie
Lager's - Amazing food and beer selection, decent amount of TV's
B-Dubs - Franchise, decent beer selection, lots of TV's

Any chance the MLB would make us open the roof tonight or tomorrow?

Been curious if they follow Selig’s ruling like in 2005. This weekend is first time that the weather is cool enough to warrant it being opened

Although I think there’s some scattered showers expected in the area today so the Stros can prob use that as excuse to close it

What kind of seats/price would I be looking at if I decided to drive to the game and buy a ticket outside the stadium?

Anybody? Also any recommendations for parking farther away from the stadium?

Rain forecasted today roof will be closed.

Tickets will be cheap if you can wait right before the game.

For parking further away find a street spot for free in Midtown and uber over. It will be like 12 bucks round trip vs paying 40 or 50 bucks for parking closer to the stadium

Some 5 and 10 dollar lots by 8th wonder. 10 minute walk to the stadium.

I wanted to see you DAT guys suffer through some adversity, but it's not cute anymore. NY/LA would be too much of an overwhelming media suckfest. Good luck, Crush City and JV.

If they did pull that, I would lose my shite. It would be an undeniable effort to minimize our home field advantage and would stink of media influence.

Thanks. So I should be able to get a cheaper ticket outside the stadium easily right before the game? Don't want to drive 4-5 hours and not get in

that's nothing should've snagged it

I was looking at going tomorrow but doesn't look like I'll be able to. Stubhub has tickets in 134 for $296 after fees. Didn't think that was bad for field level for a game 7.

It was in the outfield terrace, too, only other tickets are SRO for low 80s. I want to believe Ryno that tickets are cheaper right before the game and they wouldn't be hard to find.

I mean I've seen people selling but it's not like it's a ton. If you were local it'd be no big deal, I'd just be hesitant to drive 4 hours haha

Hmmmm, worst case scenario I could grab one on Stubhub if I don't find a ticket outside the stadium.

@Feinsand
Have to think almost everyone outside of Houston/Boston/Queens wants to see a Yankees-Dodgers World Series. Would be both epic & old school.

From the Yankees Mctaggart. frick em. I'm willing to bet that more people across the country hate the New York Yankees than love them.
