Who would have thought Stassi would have come up before Springer. I know injuries had alot to do with this, but nonetheless.

For what reason would you hold Springer down in the minors for any more games this year? If anything, just do it so your fans will be happy and stop bitching on the afternoon radio stations.

This is pretty interesting. You always look for a 3rd catcher in September just because it gives you so much more flexibility, and I had a gut feeling stassi would get a look. Tough that corporan goes out though, he's a decent bat and plays good defense. Martinez is interesting as well

Yeah certainly wouldn't want to mess with the success that is being shown on the field... What is it: 5 losing seasons in a row, 3x 100 loss seasons? They have 7.5 game lead for the worst record in the majors. There is zero reason for springer to be in the minors if Houston is planning on starting him next year. zero.
