We agree...OK the is a chance Jake is on the team next year but I don't see him being a starter. I think he and Rasmus may start platoon in CF going forward.

Why don't you see and elite defensive CFer who is capable of hitting .260-.270 as a starter?

Exactly. Jake has been soooo bad lately right? Well, I just checked.
Over the last 30 days, he is batting .250. That's better than every regular Astros starter except Altuve. Jake has been .222 over the last week; Jose has batted .120.
Marisnick just needs to relax at the plate and hit the ball hard where it's pitched. If he does that and runs his arse off, he'll be a fine everyday starter.

I would say to let Ryno answer, but he has no idea what he's talking about. Luhnow is terrible. Blast blast blast Luhnow for Appel.

Ryno needs to grind on Luhnow for the Delino Deshields frick up. That is looking like a terrible error, considering who was protected and then cut loose.

Delino couldn't hit .250 in AA how he is hitting this well in the bigs is beyond me.

Jakes had a few throws that weren't very accurate, all his other defensive skills are elite though

If Marisnick ever makes another bad throw or allows his batting average to go down by .01, we should cut him IMHO.

Hey guys..we are all friends here. Even list eater God rest his sOul. I hope I'm proven wrong about JM but I just don't see him as more than a 4th Of on a good team. He's toolsy but the only plus tool is running. He can go get it in CF...springer is just as good plus he can throw at an elite level plus he draws walks plus he hits for power....I hope Jake goes off and makes a case to stay here but I'll be shocked if he finishes the year above .250 with more then 10 HR..I'm not saying he is dogshit..just saying by next season if you all really believe in Lunhows plan we should be able to better.

I could see the argument for him not being the everyday CF. But Springer isn't going to play 162 games there and you haven't named anyone else that could fill in.

Well I'm talking about next year. Who knows.if we have 8 other legit hitters we can probably withstand starting him next year. I'm not hating just postulating.
