Back in the H after a week in the hill country

Tonight is seemingly one of the most guaranteed losses of the entire season but that's why we play the games

quote:

Kluber is coming off AL Pitcher of the Month honors after a dominant August. The only other time he was named AL Pitcher of the Month was in September 2014, the year he locked up the Cy Young. He went 5-0 in six starts last month, posting a 2.43 ERA with 44 strikeouts against 13 walks over 40 2/3 innings.

Kluber has six career appearances (five starts) against Houston, going 4-2 with a 2.73 ERA and 41 strikeouts in 33 innings
.

Jose Altuve has the most career at-bats against Kluber, batting .267.

I've never been more wrong in my life about a player than bregman. I'm not afraid to admit it. Kid is legit.

I don't think you are the only one that had doubts. I wasn't real thrilled either, just didn't think he was worthy of the #2 pick upside.

I never saw this kind of power but it appears to be real. He looks like a 25 hr guy with 40 plus doubles.

It's a shame more of our hitters don't think like him, pull everything on the middle and inside third and hit everything on the outside third up the middle/oppo.

He also adjust his approach to the situation. He has a very advanced approach. Him and correa. Altuve is just a freak.

Every Red Sox callup of the last five years except Vazquez has seen his strikeout rate go up in his first big league season. If that form holds, that means that Moncada is likely to whiff in at least one out of every three big league plate appearances this month.

Ref- Article

Looks like all the rookie call ups K's increase.

Bregman just needs to continue putting up good AB's and smashing some balls.

Surprised no Castro with a RHP on the mound.

I heard he has a minor knee injury.

I won't miss him in the line up.
