LMJ vs. Colby the Killer

Desperation is in the air, boys. Time to get this thing turned around like we did earlier this year and regain the top spot in the division.

Rangers trolls, kindly start your own thread and eat shite.

I'll be glad when the boys get back to Houston...the road and rangers woes are for real this year.

It really sucks to be in first that long to lose it. Demoralizing actually.

The writing was on the wall a month ago.

I'm just saying.

But you know what? I'll accept the frick out of this year's moral victory. Very much unexpected and looking forward to winning this MFer for the next 5 years, minimum

Haven't watched a lot of games. Don't have root, banghead. Took my grandson to the Angels game when Castro homered in the bottom of the ninth. Great game, and the team really looked pumped. When they play the Strangers I can catch the games on FoxSW or something. It seems by their body language they are going to lose the game. I see no enthusiasm by the team or coaches. Its horrible. The Strangers on the other hand are cocky and full of themselves, which I hate, but you have to have that air about yourself to compete, IMO. Just don't see it. And all of this homerun shite is killing us. Like the skit on SNL, instead of cowbells, put in small ball. The other night when we were tied in the ninth, Springer gets on and we don't bunt him to second, and Altuve hits into a possible dp, but only gets the lead man. Then Correa does the same thing. We squeeze, but we don't advance. WTF.

Meh, when you're losing, you aren't pumped. I'm tired of hearing that. Yes, they are blowing it but look at the reaction from the bench when Jed hit the HR in Anaheim. They want it.

This is just the perfect storm. Correa slumping, George not having much of an impact, Jed hurt, Marwin hurt, Castro hurt, Gomez hurt, etc.

My 2 biggest complaints right now are Conger and Springer. Conger is not a ML catcher. We heard nonstop about his framing abilities (bullshite) but never heard much about how he threw worse than half the high school catchers in America throw. With Springer, I don't know if it's the injury, slump or him being in the leadoff spot just worrying about getting on base. He honestly looks like he wants to walk. We need him to be an impact, power/speed guy, not going up there watching fastballs down the middle.

I'm not worried about Springer. He'll figure it out.

Any word on Jed for today? Hopefully he gets the start.

Really the last few months.

Rangers are playing better, and we are terrible on the road. Combine the 2 and you get them winning 6 games in a row in Arlington.

Need to win 1 tonight, then win 6 of 9 at home, and win 3 of 6 on the last roadtrip ( )

That would put us at 87-75.

Rangers would have to go 8-9 to finish up at 86-76

Well that's too bad. Wish he could have made it a little longer and seen one last playoff run.

Win it for Milo.

Still a solid shot we make the wildcard game if we don't retake the division. Not as glamorous as winning the division, I know, but still postseason baseball. If season ended today, you could argue that playing the yanks in the wildcard game with the winner of that playing the royals is an easier road that winning the division outright and having to play a series against Toronto.

Just trying for a little positive spin here, haha. Hard to find something to hang on to the way this week (past few weeks, really) have gone.

AJ finally showed something other than his Ned Flanders side last night. Said something to the effect of "its never fun to get your arse kicked"

Something different from his usual we'll be ready to play line.

OK bud, whatever makes you feel better getting your arse handed to ya. Put out pathetic lineups, get pathetic results.

Period.

At least for us the Twins and the Angels are falling down to earth, so at least we will likely get the wild card spot.
