I don't think his ABs have been trash, he doesn't look overmatched. And he's still learning how to hit MLB pitching, sometimes that results in Ks especially when the counts get deep.

His overall contact rate has been good and he isn't chasing a ton of pitching according to his pitch f/x data.

I would rate it as something to keep an eye on, but being concerned with it seems a little overboard at this point.

Oh, he was definitely overmatched in his first 34 PAs.

I agree w the rest.

Keeping an eye on it is all I was doing. I plan on watching him in Houston for the next 15 years.

Yes, I have struggled with the changes in philosophy.

Lack of fundamentals.
