Apparently the #Astros and #Padres are talking trade including Mark Appel and Jake Marisnick as the headliners. According to @ChrisCotillo

I'm fine with that. Apples ceiling is Ross. Kikmbrel is way more valuable than jake. Both are under control forultiple years.

Pushing a tall stack in the centre of the table...mentally I wasn't ready for this yet, but we are two games up with 59 to go, have Lowrie back and will get a rested Springer back in a few weeks...why not I guess...

Woke up this morning to all the tweets about us Possibly moving Marisnick and Appel plus others for Ross and Kimbrel.

I can get behind that shite 100%.

That would be highway robbery assuming we don't give up any other stud prospects. I'd assume we keep the price down by taking Kimbrel's salary

HEard this song on the proper gentlemen this morning. It's a song about Carlos Gomez some fan made when he played for the twins, it's pretty funny.

Also, Bob Nightengale said all the scouts that were at the Angels/Astros series agreed.

Apparently looking at more than just Kimbrel[quote]The Astros are “pushing hard” to find an upgrade in the bullpen and have several irons in the fire, according to Jim Bowden of ESPN.com (via Twitter). Given the players under consideration, it looks like Houston is aiming high. We just heard of talks with the Padres that may include Craig Kimbrel, and Bowden says they’ve also discussed Joaquin Benoit. As Evan Drellich of the Houston Chronicle tweeted earlier, the Rays have spoken with the Astros about pen arms, though he adds nothing seems likely there, and Bowden lists Brad Boxberger and Jake McGee as names that have come up. And Houston has even made inquiries on outstanding Reds closer Aroldis Chapman, he adds.quote]
