Jay had a broken forearm back in June. He's not due back until sometime in August. That would have to be a waiver trade. Plus he'd need a rehab stint.

Do you call him "Hunch" on purpose? Or have you just lost control of your auto-correct....

If you've never heard of Hunch and Ludlow you're in for a real treat.

Was bored and browsing the team store online and saw this jersey....wouldn't hate it as an alternate home jersey. Always loved cream colored jerseys. Something in cursive like Houston would prob look really sweet

I peruse this thread from time to time....more frequently lately. I have seen the reference.

For an organization that is majorly trending upward and seems to be doing a lot right, the manager and GM sure do take a lot of shite here.

Meh, typical GM and manager talk.

Hinch did the "right" thing last night because you are not suppose to argue balls and strikes, but if it were me or my manager I'd want him out there on the field. That's why they let the managers were uniforms, to get into the game.

Yeah not sure why Marwin wouldn't DH, Bregs at 3B and Val at 1B again.

Glad to see Marwin back. Does Gomez ever get a day off? Isn't he due for one....or 100?

Facing a lefty in Sabathia. I'd rather Gomez than Rasmus

agreed. I'd also put Bregman at 5 then Gattis 6.

Well Hinch has managed to get a productive bat all the way down to 7, so I'm kind of ok with Bregs and Val batting behind catcher Gattis.

ETA: That's a solid lineup, you throw Gurriel in there and take away 1 of Marisnick/Gomez and you've got 8 hitters who aren't auto outs.

I think it'll be a positive to focus on hitting and not have to worry about fielding every rocket shot. Although he had no problem fielding last night.

I'd guess they want to break him in too. Play, DH, rotation.

The same source who said he was coming up early (before not being called up) said 3B, DH, LF and it looks like it's all unfolding according to (original) plan
