I was thinking of his reverse jinx and he's partly to blame tonight.
Just an observation but there was so much focus on Bregman tonight it just seemed like a distraction to the whole team although I've seen them suck at the plate like this before so I wouldn't say it was all because of that.

I think Pineda just pitched well just like he did last week against the Orioles actually. Nothing more, nothing less.

I can't fricking stand the guy. He's complete shite. His June was inflated by an absurd .400+ BAbip while still striking out at a pathetic 30%. As soon as that came back down, he's the same shitty guy who swings at everything and rarely gets the ball to the outfield.
And I swear to God I can't take much more of him initially breaking in on a well hit fly ball and then he can't angle back quick enough to make a play on the ball.

Hinch is a loser. That's all I got for now. You have to defend your MVP candidate when he kind of knows what a strike looks like.

Just got back from the game, so I'll fire off my hot takes:
Carlos Gomez is awful and I do not like watching him suck every day
Give me Beltran or give me death. The days of 2 catchers hitting in our lineup should end.
I have no issue with how Hinch handled Keuchel in the 8th inning. Also no issues with how he handled the Altuve situation. It was a close game he should try to stick around.
Bregman is a smooth fielder. He also has a sweet swing. He will be a stud.
