Well Kyle Tucker was pulled from a game Saturday and didn't play sunday. Alverez had the same thing happen to him as well.
Hopefully is we are packaging those two guys it's for DeGrom.

Teams are probably pushing for Tucker & Whitley/Martes. One of Tucker or Whitley will be sent away in a trade for a starter. Just hoping it's not both.

I agree. Jl is on the conservative side(most the time). Zero chance he would spend the prospects needed to get degrom.

I think what happened was this...
DirecTV's sports network was called Root Sports and it launched in 2011.
In 2015, AT&T bought DirecTV. So now AT&T owned Root Sports. And I guess they wanted to rebrand to reflect that.
So nothing changed except for the new name and graphics. It's still "Root Sports" just with a different name.

I agree degrom isn't going anywhere and I'm iffy on gray with all his injury concerns. I wonder if a package with Fisher, Perez, Alverez, Martes and maybe a borderline guy like Moran or Hernandez would get Gray or Cole?

I agree, that it won't happen. But if we are shipping off some untouchable prospects then we better get a TOR arm in return. DeGrom is the best available from a team who is viewed to be sellers.
I personally like Gray and DeGrom over any of the other names being thrown around. I'd throw in Archer as well.

I doubt Luhnow wants to give up that much for Gray, and Cole isn't pitching well enough right now for that package either.
I think Luhnow is just hanging around waiting for someone's price to come down where he wants it. But if deGrom, Stroman or Fulmer becomes truly available, he might burn a big part of the farm system to get the deal done.

I don't think minor league players are pulled in case a trade happens. That's not how this works.
Tucker was seen going into the clubhouse with a trainer and Alvarez' manager said he was a little dinged up and it was precautionary.

DeGrom isn't available. They might listen (they would be dumb not to) but he's not being shopped. If Lunhow offered half the farm for him they wouldn't say no but neither team is in a hurry to give up the peices to make that trade happen.

AT&T took over the Root Sports Networks. It's not just the Astros.
The Mariners, Rockies and Pirates have are no longer under the Root Sports moniker and now don the AT&T logo.
Went to the game yesterday. Awesome experience. I'm 4-0 now when I attend games in person.
I have a new appreciation for Nori Aoki. The 7-8-9 hitters really saved our asses yesterday.
Whoever said the Astros are terrible at baserunning (and that Gary Pettus is a terrible third base coach) need to re-watch yesterday's game. It was baserunning that won the game for us against the Twins on Sunday.
