DAT 6.18 | Astros v. Rockies | Astros win! Sweep!

Astros have won two consecutive series since the streak that shall not be named. 4 game winning streak going for 5 in a row behind the powerful, yet Mercurial right arm of Collin F. McHugh. some chump named Hale goes for Colorado.
Looks like el Scorpion is going to be on the bench for at least a couple more days with the bad hamstring. the club seems to be downplaying it but I suspect he will need to go on the 15 day DL to get it completely right.
The club could recall Jonathan Villar from Fresno or take a chance on another rookie who is lighting it up in the minors in Tony Kemp (not on the 40 man roster)…I think the right move is to put Altuve on the DL and call up Villar for 2 weeks. Villar has hit well this year but been a disaster at SS, 3B and LF…maybe 2b will limit the damage defensively.
oh, and in case you missed it, THIS IS HAPPENING:

The Springer/Correa 1-2 punch has been everything we have dreamed of. Rockies are throwing another righty today so I would assume the lineup will be similar to yesterday, with Marwin moved down since he won't be coming in for Altuve. Not sure if Colby will be back for Seattle or not, but if not Santana should get another start in that series

They should put Altuve on the DL, move Peacock to the 60 taking him off the 40 man, and bring up Kemp IMO

I think Colby is supposed to join the club tomorrow night in Seattle. Hopefully the funeral didn't take away his mojo. I really hope they put Altuve on the DL…he is useless without speed and I would rather have Villar's bat than Marwin. plus if Marwin starts and altuve can't play but he's active, we have no backup infielders.

I agree with your idea for Peacock and Grossman, but not sure If I want another rookie in the lineup at this point when we are trying to win games. maybe as a showcase for a trade. I would bet they recall Villar. The worst thing they can do is keep Altuve active. He will not heal this season if he doesn't sit out a couple of weeks. without speed he isn't a really good offensive player
