Have any Rangers injured themselves from laughing hysterically at Giles' comments?

Keuchel is too good a pitcher to be down all season.

And I've watched Hamels--he's quite beatable, especially early in games. (Last year's debacle against Detroit proved the point: one out, two outs, one strike, two strikes -- two runs. In each of the first three innings.)

This is Houston's best chance to end the streak--tomorrow night they face Daddy Yu.

Disagreed. Last night was. Despite Lewis ownage of us, Hamels and Yu are the type of pitcher that shuts down the Astros. We had a chance last night. Instead we:

Grounded into 2 inning ending double plays with a runner on 3rd.

Popped out twice with the bases loaded

Blew a 7th inning lead

Botched an inning ending double play ball and allowed the next batter to win the game.

Lol not sure.

I will say this, I did like his comment about putting us in the ground or whatever. At least they're finally starting to get pissed off.

These next three games are definitely must watch.

I'll get out of the DAT before I get run off by pitchforks.

The Rangers lead MLB in double plays, so don't feel bad about that.

The Rangers had two leads and blew both of them. And usually if they get three runs up they don't blow the lead, even with their craptastic bullpen.

And that doesn't even include the first inning on defense.

The Astros could use that as a training video: "How NOT to Play First Base" by Marwin Gonzalez. Crane could sell a few copies and pay off his debts.

I'm not expecting much tonight.

Road Keuchel gonna road Keuchel and Hamels will continue to own the Astros since no can resist off-speed away.

ETA: I tell you one thing though, I enjoyed the frick out of Gomez being a retard, the following sequence was amazing:

1st Pitch: Swing out of batting helmet
2nd Pitch: Swing hard enough to fall over
3rd-5th Pitches: Snarling and Crazy Eyes
6th Pitch: Bat Flip flyout to 50 feet or so from the warning track

Also, I have no problem with Giles' comments, it's about time someone showed some fire instead of AJ's ho hum, "we need to play a complete game" bullshite

This team is soft and still flawed. There are holes and areas to fix, but there's also immense talent in spots. Last night showed us everything we already knew.

Reed and Bregman are not quite ready yet. It sucks. But the Gomez thing is the gift that keeps on giving, like VD.

Hamels has left a lot of middle in fastballs the past few starts. if he does it again tonight, it could finally be the stros time

Definitely has had some issues with giving up home runs.

Side note. Is anyone starting to feel like maybe Carlito is the one who should move to third. He makes some incredible plays, but at the same time will botch the routine ones that cost us games (last night for example)

There was an article on Astros County a few weeks ago that said basically: He's an average to below average fielder, he makes "spectacular" plays because he is having to dive, jump, etc. to make up for lack of reaction time.

The advanced stats tend to back this up, as of yesterday, he's the 21st ranked defensive SS. That ain't good.

Houston has somehow become immune to it.

And the Rangers didn't call him up until after they played Cleveland. Plus the next Oakland series is some time away (plenty of time, if they use their brains, to move him around to avoid them).
