YFPHA are in for a lengthy two game homestand before taking to the road for a couple of huge series. Let's hope that we get Bugs Bunny Hinch pushing the buttons instead of Yosemite Sam Hinch.

Gotta keep things rolling before this road trip. The start of the Yankees series until the end of the month could be our hardest stretch of ball all season. Everyone point and laugh at North Waco.

Things to know about this game
• The series will feature the No. 1 and No. 2 overall picks in the 2015 MLB Draft. Braves infielder Dansby Swanson went No. 1 out of Vanderbilt (to the D-backs, who later traded him to Atlanta) and Astros third baseman went No. 2 overall out of LSU. Both were teammates on the USA Baseball Collegiate National in 2014 and last year in the MLB All-Star Futures Game. Additionally, both shortstops in the game - Swanson and Carlos Correa of the Astros - were No. 1 overall picks.
• Astros second baseman Jose Altuve has spent the past few years establishing himself as one of the game's best hitters. But although he has had some success on the road, he has hit just .236 with a .629 OPS in 18 home games.

Thought I'd see a better Braves team this season. Freeman's best years are being wasted.

He's still 27. If the young talent the Braves have in their system right now pans out he will still be in his prime when they're up and the Braves become good

AJ Hinch on 790 this morning. Discussed Morton, bullpen usage, Altuve and how he would prank call the station a la John Gibbons last week.

I definitely believe this will be our hardest stretch of the season, from the Yankees series till the Twins series. Need to bitchslap the Braves, take at least two from the Yankees and try to win a majority of the series following that.
I so badly want us to sweep the Yankees because the deepthroating has already gotten unbearable. At the very least, I'd like us to blow them out the night they retire Jeter's number. Jeter was awesome, but frick the Yankees.
As for the Braves, I expect us to light up Bartolo tonight. He's been pretty bad this season

Member how Reddick started hitting when Beltran gave him advice.
Correa started hitting when his 18-year old JUCO brother gave him instruction:

I want to be the Astros hitting coach so I can do nothing and watch baseball for a big salary, too.

Nine games ago, Carlos, who had slumped, listened to a 20-minute pep talk from JC, who told him to spread his feet more and steady his bat. Carlos has hit .333 since.

It's a bit alarming that multiple guys on the club are attributing the correction of batting flaws to anyone but our hitting coach.
Hold it down baws. I'll be out of town and in and out of cell service through at least Thursday. Keep the wins going

I'm not going to relax until Arlington's winning percentage is equal to Banister's IQ.
