Exactly!

Every time I talk down on Carter I get a ton of down votes. Do these people seriously think he is good and that he is the best we can do at the position? He is a one tool player with a stupid high K rate, which basically cancels out his one tool.

But I do want him to do good so we can get a positive return on him eventually.

You have called for the DFA, trade or release of Gattis, Carter, Rasmus and Castro over the span of 3 short weeks. Funny your bitching has fell silent now that those guys are helping you win. Nice work

I know it's probably difficult for Cubs fans to comprehend as losing is pretty much the standard of expectations, but Astros fans are tired of the losing. Yes, there were many of us frustrated earlier. And most likely, it will happen some more through out this season. We don't want to be comfortable with 100 years of suffering. 10 has been plenty for us.

Bryant looks like an excellent strikeout prone singles hitter so far

More pennants than the Cubs in your lifetime.

Cry about players underperforming a week into the season

Call for DFA and trade

Players start playing well

Win streak ensues

Gloat over said win streak

This isnt about Cub fans. We need to address the internal issue with these fairweather DAT fans, dont you think?

So the pinnacle of your bragging consists of one pennant in your franchise history with 0 World Series titles? At least you put the "in your lifetime" caveat there to make it sound better. Congrats bro.

And yet, here you are, in the DAT thread trying to spread your internet Herpes.

Truth of the matter is, you can leave and we'd all be happier.

fairweather. We've averaged 104 losses over the last 4 seasons and most of the guys in the threads this year have been in them the whole time. After losing that much, you're prone to be a bit irrational when a player starts out 0-20 or when your DH whos only skill is hitting home runs has 1 homer 2 weeks into the season.

Hey bud, our Cubbies just lost 2 of 3 to a previously 5 win Milwaukee team. Our Krissiah is striking out at an alarming rate and isnt showing the promising power. Soler is struggling. Yet we remain grounded, upbeat, and positive. Take notes

Hard to do since the CHC threads have disappeared recently. Say what you will, win or lose (mostly winning though) we've been here for every game.

We addressed the bandwagon datters last year after a few springer dingers. So maybe a ten game winning strike is worthy of another

I dont think I've ever started a daily Cubs thread, cant really speak to that. Im not sure it reflects fandom but if you want that, you can have it, no problem. Despite silly message board posters, I have enjoyed watching the Stros play this year. Fun team to watch. Hopefully CC and MA get the call soon
