This is what is alarming to me. White got to the majors and "found" his power and now he's striking out at an utterly absurd rate for him.

Someone told him to do that, why would a guy change what made him reach the majors as a 33rd round pick?

No it's not over, McCullers is back, DK will soon find his groove. If we can get into striking distance by the trade deadline we can grab some valuable players to help down the stretch just like last year.

Are there any decent corner bats on the free agent market this offseason? It seems like the list was pretty underwhelming all the way around, but it has been a while since I looked at it.

Josh Reddick maybe?

This entire free agent class really sucks.

If Reddick comes back from his injury and plays well I'll be all about signing him.

Edwin Encarnacion is a FA but he's having a really meh season by his standards. Bautista is a FA but he's 36 and will want a lot of money. Most of the potentially attractive free agents are guys who have club options so they won't actually be free agents.

I fear him some as a contract year guy who is going to get overpaid in this market. Might want to watch Ian Desmond, too.

Bautista in MMP might be fun. For like a year. But his best years are behind him and he'll want a shite ton of money.

Gomez is rehabbing with Corpus. Hopefully he doesn't rub off on Bregman

I like the lineup as a whole other than White not being in it.

Moving Castro up, hopefully he doesn't start sucking again.

I like it. At least he's trying something new.

Castro hitting 6 extends the lineup. White is not a ML hitter yet. Glad to see Jake on the bench.

Let's go.

I think he's perfectly capable, and would have been if someone in the organization didn't frick him up and try to make him into a power hitter.

usually I'm on board with anything Reed. He needs to turn it around or he won't sniff the show this year.
