Feldman (3-4), 5.06 vs. Price (3-1), 3.40
12:08 CT start

Astros hit the road and many expect them to "come back to earth" in Detroit. Tigers have the advantage of missing Kuechel, but bombs drop in Comerica, too.

On with the show!

I posted this in the last nights DAT, but thought I would bring it here as well.

Gattis hit .164 in April, he has hit .231 in May.
He had 12 hits in April, he has 15 in May.
He had 2 HR in April, he has 6 in May.
He had 24 SO in April, he has 11 SO in May.
He had 3 BB in April, he has 2 BB in May.

Only 7 PA separate the sample 76 in April vs 69 in May.

Glad he is coming back into the form that the Astros traded for with the Braves.

Captain Caveman Lettuce Turnip the Beet has truly launched some epic shots recently.

Springer seems to be looking to go oppo with everything.

Altuve needs to get back on the beam here.

If I'm not mistaken, Comercial is where Springer's light came on last year.

O/U K's for price today, 10.5. What ya got?

He will go 7 innings and the Astros will humiliate Detroit's bullpen. Seems to be the trend with this team.

Wish we could see Keuchel vs. Detroit.

Stros gonna kick some arse anyways and make that Comerica visitors clubhouse into club Astros.

I see nothing but pain for the Tigers this weekend. Feldman last two outings have been much improved. We will get 3 to 4 HR off price...carter and Gattis are heating up.

Springer has a .383 Obp and he's only hitting .190. When he regresses to Babip mean look out because his walk rate is up and his k rate is down.

If Feldman can get through the first clean and someone can drop a bomb early, I will feel good about the outcome

Consider it done. Just walk muggy every time and they can't beat us

@EvanDrellich: Scott Feldman vs. current Tigers roster via @baseballsavant: 0.344 (22-for-64). Most of that is Miggy Cabrera: 9-for-18 with 2 homers.

Do not pitch to Miggy

yeah I was just checking that out. I think the numbers I posted above for his OBP was just for May. his total OBP for 2015 is .335 or so and for may its .383. I think Fangraphs has his wOBA at .325 total for 2015 which is slightly above league average…but I imagine its much much higher for May

Really excited for Saturday's game so we can see what McCullers does against this lineup. Hopefully Feldman can build off his last couple starts today

Most important series of the year. Best friend is a Tigers fan, so we have to win this series or I'll never hear the end of it
