I'm really high on Joe Musgrove.

I think he'll be a solid piece of our rotation for a while.

Yuli with a nice quick swing RBI double

El Yuli is getting hot. I'm expecting a lot of doubles out of him.

Reddick with an RBI single versus a lefty, y'all.

Don't need Yuli to be a superstar, if we can get a .780 or higher OPS from him with a dozen bombs and lots of doubles, he'll be a damn good 6-7 hitter.

Reddick got a hit against a lefty

Blummer has explained how wRC+ is a better metric than OPS. This isn't your Ashby era broadcast anymore.

I'm not convinced that Giles won't be an early season liability again.

Giles is not my kind of guy.

Was at my kids baseball practice so I didn't get to see Giles pitch. I see Ryno's comment and so to my self "aww shite".

Quickly check the box score and see Gioes has a line of 0 runs, 0 hits, 1 BB.

Yep, comment checks out.

He hung one to Werth with 2 strikes that he crushed to dead cf. Would have been gone by 30 feet if the wind wasn't blowing in hard from cf. It was more the shitty location of the pitch and lack of fb movement that makes me sour on him.

Giles also had the first hitter lace a liner to third that required a great play to save him.

When he misses, pitches get crushed.

Tyler Heineman was traded to the Brewers for cash or a PTBNL

That is surprising to me.

It ain't like we have a ton of catching depth in the system.

David Stearns assembling a whole team of Luhnow's castoffs.

Heineman was expendable. He was behind Juan Centeno and Stassi in the catching line of secession. And Stubbs is a better prospect.

I'm off all week (during the week), so it's opening week where I can sit and watch baseball for most of that. So yeah, opening week.

And I've got tickets for Wednesday's game vs Seattle.
