Brutal yep

He saw a guy stopped, no whistle had been blown even though guy was stopped, so he went in there and lit him the frick up

Should he be fined yes

Was it dirty yes

Have football players always, and will always, look to light up easy targets? Yes

Warren sapp laughs at some of you calling this the worst hit

I said it is being held against him in part because he hit him hard. You said no it wasn't and then one of your listed reasons was that he hit him hard. You totally agreed with me.

i said this wasnt an instance where the only reason why this is being held against trevathon was because he hit him hard

how in the fricking world did i totally agree with you? i never argued against that he was in fact hit hard, i said that wasnt the only reason why this was dirty

I’m not able to watch the game. Did they cart him off the field unconscious or did he regain consciousness??

He regained consciousness before immobilized. I spotted him reaching for his head either just before or just after trainers made it to him. He gave a thumbs up while they wheeled the stretcher off the field.

Chicken shite hit that will earn a fine and suspension, but Adams will only be out as long as it takes him to clear concussion protocol. Dude was out cold though. Full on thriller arms.

I said IN PART, then you said no it wasn't.

Then, by trying to disprove me you did the opposite by listing the hard hit as part of the reason.

Reread the thread bud.

this wasnt an instance where he got punished because it was just a hard hit

I'm a football fan and want the sport to succeed for many years to come. That being said that video would be a good exhibit A on why your child should not play football.

i was just going off what you initially said. either way, the intensity of the hit OBVIOUSLY plays a role in all of this, but if this was just a hard hit then this is a whole bag of nothing and people are complaining about how awful the penalty against him was

Why should it? He is a ball-carrier on a live play.

Take the Quinton Dial hit on Aaron Murray. The helmet angle is really bad. But the fact that he wasn't looking or is a defenseless little quarterback jogging makes no difference. He is a defender in front of and moving toward the ball carrier. This is probably where we differ. That same hit, with the same power and the same blind side but led with shoulder to chest would be perfectly fine. That's football.

do you really not see the difference between him trying to deliver a death blow and him just tapping him? or just trying to wrap him up with the rest of the pile?

and his momentum was clearly stopped and he was clearly a defenseless player who was in no threat to make a play

forgive me, i for some reason thought you were talking about tonights hit
