Finally. It really needed to happen a while back.
Other boxing news: rumors of GGG fighting Carl Froch going around. I've never really been a Froch fan, but you can never say he doesn't always show up to fight. That would be an entertaining fight for as long as it lasted.

The WBC finally did the right thing. I used to be a fan of Garcia but between not giving Herrera a rematch, fighting Rod Salka, fighting Lamont Peterson at a catchweight and now supposedly Paulie Malignaggi....I'm done with him.
That fight with Rod Salka should have NEVER been approved. He wasn't even ranked at 135 yet he's allowed to move up more than a weight class to fight the champ? I mean he almost killed the guy.
Danny Garcia, Al Haymon and Showtime Execs should be ashamed of themselves for putting that fight together.
