McGoober played the game to the hilt for the UFC the last couple years
Poor little Connie. If only he made millions in the process...

Played the fight anyone at any weight at anytime thing
No, he didn't. Diaz was the first person his own size that he has fought. He cut massive amounts of weight and rehydrate through IVs in order to beat up distinctly smaller fighters.

played up the pressers above and beyond anything the UFC could have ever hoped for and it got him in over his head. Seems like White could have given him a little room to do what McGoober thinks is right for himself. To get himself, "McGoober", in the best condition and mindset that he feels he needs to get his best performance. He played the dancing monkey for Dana White in the past more and better than anyone could have asked for. White could have showed a little gratitude and let him do what he thinks he needs to do for at least this one fight.
Just let him be a champion fighter like Aldo or Lawler or anyone else for a change and not a dancing monkey.
You keep acting like McGoober himself wasn't responsible for the schtick. Did Dana encourage it? Of course, but that is what made him the draw that he is. Now he wants to stop doing what made him a draw while being paid more than much better, more accomplished fighters? GTFO.

I do. I would rather take the PPV hit and not have to worry about tabs, cabs, and idiots.
If I invite a couple friends they usually throw me some money anyway which usually covers my booze.

Andygator is usually my beer of choice. I don't really care for domestic lagers.
and no, 1 PPV buy will not hurt Dana's bottom line but I like McGoober and want him back in the octagon...or on a mic.

You think he learned a lesson?
This isn't the first time, nor will it be the last time, a UFC star thinks they are bigger than the promotion.

If this was all over money I don't blame Conor for trying.
Just don't go all Tito Ortiz and be butthurt for the rest of your career over it. I hope he learned and doesn't "lose his smile"

Even if you don't like Conor, not sure how folks can hate on him for this. The UFC treats its fighters like crap. I wish they'd form a fighters union.
amen to that. Never seen a modern day sport that treats its athletes the way the UFC does. If there ever was a sport that needed a union, it's MMA fighters and UFC fighters. They really need to join together and try to balance the scales. Especially for the non champion level fighters.

I love how they let the fans ask questions during the press conference
