Romo is the better QB.

Everything is coming together for the Cowboys at exactly the wrong time for Romo unfortunately

Feel bad for him but you arent benching your QB that is 8-1

People act like Dak has this team on his shoulders. Dak is the coattail ridingest motherfricker in the league. Look at all of the throws behind receivers, short throws, fade routes with no touch, missing front pylon throws, etc. From a pure QB skill standpoint, Romo is head and shoulders better than Dak. The only thing keeping Dak on the field is what-ifs. What if the team doesn't respond to Romo like they do Dak? What if Romo gets hurt again? What if Romo isn't as good post injury? Period. Dak has a 66% completion percentage and a 106 rating? Cool. Romo's last full season he had a 70% completion percentage and a 113 rating. Head to head, Romo is better. There's really no arguing that.

There's a lot more to consider other than what seems cut and dry.

Like:

1. Is a more pass happy offense the right choice for Dallas long term this season?
2. Do you trust that Romo can actually stay healthy?
3. The playoff question.

I can see an argument for both. I can see an argument that a balanced offense is the way to go and I can see the argument that Dallas' defense isn't good enough to go with a balanced attack that relies more on the defense being good.

Ultimately, what puts you in the super bowl is having a balanced offense and a good defense in most cases.

if it wasnt for that facemask saving a timeout and giving Dallas 15 yards we are all talking about how Dak refused to use the sidelines on that last drive.

I dont understand what you want to happen

So you do want a team that is 8-1 in the NFL to switch their QB?

Are you a Cowboys fan or a Romo fan?

I dont get it

Y'all are so fricked if you bench Dak for Romo.

There isn't a single stat that will account for the chemistry and momentum that the Cowboys would be setting on fire with that decision.

Aware he had timeouts. Took what the defense gave him. Won the game. Ho hum.

I'm not blind enough to think we're 8-1 because of one player. I also wasn't dumb enough to think Romo was the issue on past versions of this Cowboys team.

He didn't win it. A facemask call and Zeke won it. He refused to throw to the sidelines and got bailed out by a penalty.

Did Dak lose the game iyo?

Look, I get what you're saying about Romo but god damn man. Give it a break. Zeke is a monster and Dak is beyond solid. We didn't win solely because of Dak and had we lost, it certainly wouldn't have been his fault either.

I love Romo but you are nuts if you are in favor of benching Dak for him right now.

It wouldn't be more pass happy. It'd be the exact same mix as when Dallas had DeMarco Murray leading the league in rushing.

Isn't Romo's big achilles heal that he isn't good in the playoffs? How can we crown Dak until we see how he performs in the playoffs

I think we lose that game if we don't have the league's best runningback and offensive line. Dak had TWELVE completions going into the fourth quarter. He's the epitome of "game manager".
