D1 Semifinal: #6 Catholic 27 at #2 Evangel 21 Final/OT - Bears are dome bound!

Teams play for the first time since 1999 5A semifinals when Evangel scored the final 17 points to take a 39-22 victory.
Does anyone remember watching that game? It was the first live statewide broadcast of high school football in LA. Evangel was #1 in the country with Brock Berlin. Catholic gave them a game for about 3 quarters.

I was in 6th grade and went to that game with my Dad. It was one hell of a football game. Olympia stadium has never been crazier.
Shocked it wasn't played at Memorial. Capitol High must have been playing the same night.

Yeah that game was at Olympia because Capitol hosted a game at Memorial.
