Which format is better ? CWS with eight teams or NCAA with 68? What if the roles were reversed. CWS is 68 teams bracketed . Would you save your ace for the third round ? Whst if NCAA was only 8 teams double elimination ? UK could play duke 2x in a week!!

They're called regionals and super regionals.
You should check it out sometime...

I realize there are supers and regionals but what if it was one game neutral site lined bracket system. Then for the NCAA just pick top eight teams and use the CWS format

CWS isn't as good as it used to be. The Saturday afternoon championship game was so much better than the drawn out best-of-three series.

Plus the lack of HRs in the CWS and college baseball itself really hurts it.

I have no clue what you are suggesting they do.

You do realize during baseball season they play 3 game series every weekend. Hence the double elimination style formats in the post season.

Basketball and football don't play series throughout the year. Hence the single elimination format post season play.

You are comparing apples to oranges here.

The CWS is tediously slow.

Well final fours are the best when your team is there so you wouldn't really know
