Golden State Warriors (-150)

Cleveland Cavaliers (+275)

San Antonio Spurs (+750)

Houston Rockets (+1600)

Boston Celtics (+2000)

Los Angeles Clippers (+2500)

Toronto Raptors (+2500)

Washington Wizards (+3300)

Utah Jazz (+4000)

If you weren't taking the eventual NBA champion Warriors, who would you bet on ? The Spurs at +750 seems like the 'smart' bet but I like the Clippers +2500 as far as taking a long shot.

I'd take the spurs all day. They are the best team in the NBA right now

You are fooling yourself if you don't think the Finals will be Warriors vs. Cavs.

I'd still say the warriors are the best at the moment. We will see how the Spurs gel once Gasol is back on the roster next week.

Can someone give me a short description of how these odds pay off? Suppose I put $1 on the Clippers, for example. What would the +2500 mean if they won it all? And what if I put $1 on the Warriors at -150 and they win?

The same two teams have never played in the Finals three years in a row.

Just food for thought.

Spurs for sure.

I actually like +1600 for the Rockets. I'd probably take those two.

Thank you, fine sir. I had no idea that it was as simple as taking away the zeros...like +2500 is the same as 25-1

It would take a injury to prevent it from happening this year. Knocking on wood

Have there ever been two teams this dominant before? Serious question. Maybe Lakers and Celtics, but even they had some serious competition.

Lakers and Celtics are the only ones who have been this close. 6 times in 8 years without 3 in a row and another time 2 in a row in the 80s.

I mean, it was pretty close to happening with the Jazz and Bulls.

The Jazz are the best team in the NBA that no one gives a damn about this season... Heyward is scoring more than 22 a game and Gobert is having a career season... Depth is an issue but Hood, Hill and Johnson give them a starting 5 that can compete with anyone.
