The Mets/Dodgers series moves on to LA as the Dodgers tied the series last night. Game 5 is tomorrow. DeGrom vs. Greinke. That should be an exciting game and I'll likely try to watch.

Who do we want to see? Obviously we assume the Mets are the weaker team. For the season, the Cubs are 7-0 against the Mets and 3-4 against the Dodgers. The Cubs, however, did beat Greinke and Kershaw this season in back to back games.

Okay, enough of that. Last night was incredible. I didn't get to watch the game live, but I did get to hear Piscotty's HR in the first and then Javy Baez's HR later in the game while driving...those were some incredible moments in the game. I missed the meat of the game where Rizzo and Schwarber went yard, but I did get to hear the last three outs on my drive back to Nola last night. I was bananas in my vehicle...what a time to be alive, Cubs fans.

I didn't get to read much of the thread last night either. Were there come Cardinal fan melts going down?

preferably a game 5 that goes 42 innings.

But i'd think the mets. But the teams we beat are nothing like the one they have now. I think it's really just a coin flip. I guess mets so we're in a better timezone.

Not really, most of them just kind of disappeared from the thread. I didn't look at the thread during the game though.

As for the NLCS, doesn't really matter to me. Both will be tough. I wouldn't think Kershaw and Greinke would be available for Games 1 and 2 when we have Lester and Arrieta going...so there's that. But we also owned the Mets this year, but that really doesn't matter now.

It really doesn't matter to me honestly. Yes we're 7-0 against the Mets but they were also a different team the second half of the season as opposed to when we played them. I like the fact that we can set up our rotation exactly the way we want to.

That's going to be key...and hopefully Addison Russell can heal up for Saturday, too. Although, let's give Baez a ton of credit. That had to be one hell of a good feeling for him.

Gotta be honest, I had my doubts about him going into the game, but he stepped up huge.

oh and thank you heKtor. Can you imagine the narratives if the cubs had given up 2 runs, or god forbid 3, about failing to get a run home from 3rd with no outs?

The Dodgers scare the hell out of me with Kershaw, Greinke, A-Gon, Puig, Joc, and their fantastic rookie Seager.

I know regular season stats don't mean didley in the postseason but I just feel more comfortable vs Mets. Even though they have Syndegaard, Harvey, and deGrom I think they have a weaker lineup top to bottom then the Dodgers

I would think the Mets are who you'd want..

A lot less of a trip travel-wise..

L.A. has 2 cy young pitchers.

All the series between the two starting with most recent
1-2 vs Dodgers
3-0 vs Mets
2-1 vs Dodgers
4-0 vs Mets

So 7-0 vs Mets and 3-3 vs Dodgers? Unless I missed a series somewhere..

just for fun i went and looked up to see if I had any cubs related post and what they were about from last october...the only thing we were discussing...wrigley renovations. Maybe they should still be wearing hard hats out in the bleachers.

At first I was wanting the Dodgers. Lester and Arrieta matchup with Kershaw and Grienke. And we'd have an advantage in the other starts.

Now I'm leaning Mets. We know we'd only get Harvey once. De Grom is pitching tomorrow. Offense isn't as strong as LAD.

Just booked flights for WS weekend in Wrigley. Please God let this happen
