Decent debate on reds tv....harder to be a great player on a bad team or a great player on a great team? And what two historical players are they talking about that sparked the discussion? Same position...one red....one cub

Larkin and Banks
Is one player on a good team and the other on a bad team or both on a bad team?

Correct. Brenneman said he argues with Ron santo a lot because santo thinks Sandberg is better and brenneman takes Morgan. Then they likened it to votto on this team.
Brenneman says it's easier when you are playing for yourself a little bit and not as worried about pressure or clutch situations. Shitty lineup around you gives you more walks (but he might be overrating that because votto thrives on this).

No Javy. Thanks, Joe. Because La Stella is lighting pitching up.

LaStella must have naked photos of someone. the whole lift russell and keep lastella in because he's a lefty last night made about zero sense...even if the only left the reds have in the pen is champan. Not like price is smart enough to manage a bullpen anyway.
I really wish we could win a super fluky way today, just so Thom's head would explode.
I really hate doing this, because he's a dipshit, but hat tip to Brandon Phillips for the way he handled the Strop celebration last night.

I think Brandon Phillips is really fun to watch. I think he is a good dude with a great glove and no future in a front office.

No doubt about that.

It's unhealthy to agree about everything. Glad we found ours.

@Cubs: Kyle Schwarber has been scratched from today's lineup due to right rib soreness.
Coghlan moves over to LF and Jackson gets the start in RF.
