Sounds like Smith is the brains behind this little operation and quickly figured out that he could crank out these puppies within minutes of rolling out of bed each morning.

Bayless actually needs multiple hours of daily prep work for this shite? Jesus...

How will Bayless be able to afford his steroids without the WWL?

I don't care for this incarnation of Bayless but he is an excellent writer and I wish he would do more of it, I think if he can get away from what he is doing now he can return to respectability.

When I see threads like this I'm always slightly amazed that there are people who watch any of ESPN's content outside of the games themselves

Both of them are assmites, but Bayless is extremely talented especially as a writer. SAS is just obnoxious and loud.
SAS isn't an extremely good reporter?

I quit watching once the changed the format of that show to Bayless and Smith only.

When the SAS stuff with Durant hit, Cowherd mentioned that First Take is the highest rated show in ESPN.

Wait, first take has meetings and puts out the garbage they do?

Yeah I was surprised as well. What a waste of time.

"Skip should troll the American sports fan with his recycled contrarian opinions, then Stephen A can respond with some race bait"

Meeting adjourned

Remember when people thought FS1 wouldn't just be a crappier version of ESPN with worse sports programming

Stephen A. Smith is a POS. frick that guy.

If it's not stipulated in his contract that he needs to put in x hours of office work, then why would he do it?

Can't blame the guy. No need to hate.

One of the lousiest, laziest and just plain awful shows in sports. But that's not saying much. ESPN is a joke now.

It was First Take that made me decide to only use ESPN for games. I haven't watched regular ESPN programming in about 5 years now.

PS - Well, I just realized that's not true. I will watch the SEC Network a bit, and it is affiliated with ESPN.
