Not sure if anyone knows but Miles was in the booth calling the game this past weekend between Nebraska and N. Illinois, which was won by the Huskies. Nice-guy Mike Riley's seat is heating up quickly, and Miles is the #1 name being mentioned as a replacement. His son is a freshman fullback for the Huskers.

That could be a good fit for him and Nebraska. They get back to a run based offense and he gets back to coaching at a big name school.

Not an inside source, but I coached his two sons at U-High and Ben, who is at Nebraska, said his dad has mentioned he wouldn't be against it, but there haven't been any talks at allz

They can do better. Miles best days are behind him, IMO.

Mike Riley won with shite Northwest talent in Corvallis at Oregon State.

What makes anyone think Les Miles can win at Nebraska when he had some of the best talent in the country in his own backyard and still couldn't win the SEC?

Riley did far more with far less for a long time.

It doesn't make sense that Les Miles would be some savior. This ain't Louisiana. Les Miles was landed a talent goldmine and managed to frick it up.

People think he's getting South D-line talent to Nebraska? Nope.

It would be more Okie lite State and more 6-6 seasons like he had before LSU.

Only reason why I don't see it happening. But I think he could win there.

Les Miles would be smart to wait and take the MSU job when Mullen leaves for A&M

Miles won the SEC twice. There's also no Saban to deal with every year.

If the Nebraska job does become available, it's Scott Frosts to lose.

That was the doing of the idiot ginger AD, I expect him to be fired sometime in October when the wheels really come off, and I think Riley gets fired after the Iowas game.

I see this team only winning 3 or 4 games total, which is a shame because this is one of the more talented Husker teams in a while.

Yeah, thank god for that.

Instead of Saban...

He would just have Harbaugh and Meyer every year.

Yep. Wanted him to begin with, but the ginger AD who is a retread from Miami chose an over the hill .500 coach from Oregon State to be HC instead.
