Cotto vs Canelo HBO PPV 9:00ET

I have my money on Cotto. Canelo is the favorite with a giant fan base, flashiness, speed and power, but still too young and has a lot to learn. In his fight with Kirkland he was still over confident and allowed Kirkland to rip off body shots and trade punches with him.
Cotto has become so well rounded, still has knockout power with decent speed and much improved timing. He's going to use his wit, and break down Canelo's body for about 4 rounds. Eventually Canelo will pick up the pace while becoming fustrated and Cotto will counter him to death . Expect Canelo to get dropped once from a check hook which Mayweather tagged him with countless times. I have Cotto winning this one by Split decision. Watch out for that one scorecard that has everyone like wtf were you watching . He should win it by a comfortable 3 rounds.

True statement. Boxing is about to be hit by a wave of young monsters though. Hopefully they can revive it, but with people like Arum and Haymon having their thumb down on the sport it's almost impossible.

This one is tricky because I think Cotto wins the actual fight easily because Canelo takes way too many rounds off, never makes adjustments and supposedly had a lot of trouble making weight for this fight.
That said, Canelo is the Golden Boy fighter here and Jay-Z has been invisible during this entire promotion. I won't be surprised if Canelo gets another gift decision.
I'm picking Cotto to win the actual fight and if there's a BS decision in Canelo's favor, so be it. It won't be the first time.
