Eli Mcguire, from Houma, La just got drafted by the Jets. He was a WORKHORSE at ULL and I'm totally convinced he could have done some great things at LSU if we weren't lucky enough to have LF and DG. Also, he has great character for a kid from a tough upbringing. Best of Luck to ELI15!

I believe you are correct. Brandon Jacobs was born in Houma, but played at assumption.

I thought really highly of this guy and his play. Seemed to always run hard and give high effort when I watched. Thought Coach Hud could have used him better but there were some QB issues the last few years.

Tramon Williams was also born in Houma and played at Assumption with Bradon Jacobs. Tramon has played in the NFL for 10 years and was a Pro Bowler in 2010. Tramon was undrafted out of Louisiana Tech in 2006.
