CFB is more fun when Miami, Notre Dame, Nebraska, and Tennessee are good IMO

Depends on the year, honestly. I tend to pull for the realistic underdog in other conferences(like if Arkansas were to live up to their hype this coming season, it would be them in tSEC).
ETA: they're not really nationally hated, but seem hated on tSEC rant
I also tend to pull for LSU as the fans were great in NOLA. Again, I don't know if I'd call them nationally hated either. And I used to pull for Texas, but have become sort of bored with them lately.

I don't root for anyone outside of Texas (student) and I have secondary interest in LSU because I am from Laker Charles. But if I had to pick one it would be Oregon, I guess. I liked Mariota a lot as a person
eta - USC, Michigan. I don't necessarily root for these teams, but college football is great when these programs are doing well. I want them to be good so I can go back to wanting to see them fail.

Duke in all sports, but most relevant in basketball. Growing up in North Carolina, you have to take your side, and I did.

... oh , I get it , for you its "Scarlett Letter" FOREVER is it ? Guilty have been punished. The program was slammed. The Players NOW ( and THEN for that matter ) had NOTHING to do with anything . PSU has new admins , new coaches , etc. The SCHOOL ( ie students, faculty, community ) shouldnt be crucified for the acts a of single man and a couple "misguided" admins. ... plus , I bet you have no idea what a "Nittany" Lion is ...

I like Miami. I have an excuse because I gree up in south Florida in the early 90s.
I like USC. I also grew up in Southern California in the mid 90s (briefly).
I'm not fans of either but I like them to do well. I'm not secret about it though.
Not me but I know a guy who loves duke. He walked around college with his duke hat on. People would treat him like shite but he loved it.
