Says UCLA is slightly profitable at the cover, 6pt, and 6.5pt teaser level

Been up in NFL the last two years, down the year before that. It's definitely a grind. Nice little run in the playoffs including backing the Broncos several times left a good taste in my mouth...

Haven't loaded up my accounts yet but Texans -1.5 looks like a great bet. Texans killed the saints last year in preseason at the dome, Saints loaded w injuries everywhere and the Texans need to get Osweiler some reps.

Line moved in New Orleans's favor. Nothing for me today.

I have excel spreadsheets with calcs on every game.

I tried this last year. Don't remember how well I did, but I was pretty close with Michigan. Way too exhausting to keep up with all the information on a week to week basis and not be paid for it.

You guys are complete degenerates. There's absolutely no way to cap preseason games. You're essentially blindfolded playing pin the tail on the spread

Not true at all. If you beat the closing number consistently you generate value regardless.

You're thinking through the lens of capping on field performance, I have very little interest in that. Just want to enter the market at the right time.

I consolidated my calcs to 2 sheets: 1 sheet is data on all 128 FBS schools. The other sheet is the weekly slate and the calc.

There will be 7-12 plays per week. The goal is to finish the year around 55-57%.

So.. 74-59 to 76-57 for the year.

Somebody talk me out of putting 10 units on my beloved Tide. I do it every season on the opening game, it's worked out pretty well in the past. I expect USC O-line to get overwhelmed early, then they'll settle in, but then both USC O-Line and D-Line should be worn down late...Bama wins 31-17. I know USC is talented, but I don't think they're ready for this.

Wisconsin O-line got worse today, too. LSU finna eat?

Putting 10 units on a week one, 10.5 point public favorite isn't really my style... After doing a little more research I'm fairly certain UNC and Auburn will be my large week one plays. Will likely wait until close to game time as UGA and Clemson should receive a ton of public money within 24 hours of the game.

Vandy -3.5 is interesting if you must make a 9/1 play.

I'm with you on UNC, Chem.

I have no statistical reference or backup, but it sure seems like public favs hit a lot in week 1.

I already locked in the under 42.5 in the Vandy/USC game. I think it's going to be sloppy offensively, just hoping for no pick-sixes or scoop & scores.

Last year was an historic year for Week 1 FAVs if I remember correctly.

I'm ready to start placing some bets. Never know if it's best to wait closer to kickoff or not.

I also should start tracking my betting trends. Just not sure the best way to go about it.
