This is crazy all these QBs looking to transfer to other schools. It seems the one thing they all have in common is that they all got beat out by an underclassman and do not want to compete for their starting jobs back. These guys seem to not be team players and makes you wonder where there head has been since they all got yanked from the starting lineup. I'm not in favor of bringing in a one and done QB especially if he can't start from day one. I could see this being a cancer. It also does not solve the problem the following year when we still have no QB on the roster ready to play. Does anyone know of any QB that has transferred and had real success in his only year he had at his new school?

You don't want a two time Big 10 MVP to start at QB?

But did Russell Wilson lose his starting job at NC State? I'm talking about a kid who lost his job then transfers.

he could get it back at OSU. But I don't think he wants to compete the year before he enters the draft.

No disrespect to Harris and Jennings but Miller would easily win the Job here, edit: (if he came in the spring) He graduates in may he can't come till the summer.

If Miller came here, we would be made immediately into championship contenders. Our QB is the thing that is holding us back. Miller is a good QB not a great thrower but better than Jennings and Harris.

OBrien and crew wanted to move to a pro style system which caused Wilson to leave NC St.

None of these guys fit the description on what I stated in the original post. A QB who got beat out and only had one year left. Miller did lose his job. He would not start if he stayed at OSU and that's why he is transferring. Why would he leave if he had his job back? That's my whole point. None of these kids wanting to leave right now want to compete and we are considering taking them?

OSU is about to have a 3 way QB battle there is no Guarantee that Miller would win that job. Imagine being a Sr QB trying to put yourself into position to be drafted and you may not win the QB job at your own school. I think Miller wants to go somewhere that he can start from the first snap of the season. He would easily get that at LSU.

why do you have a problem with us possibly solving our QB issue. This is the one thing I think that would prevent us from being a legit contender for the playoff next season. Braxton miller has talent, he was out all season because of a shoulder injury. Assuming that doesn't seriously effect his talent, which I doubt, he would come in here, easily win the job of Jennings and Harris and make our offense decent to good. Our defense will likely be top 3 in the SEC next season. Miller would make us a title contender the day he walked on campus and puts on an LSU uniform.

Kind of, he was told by Tom O'Brien that if he played MILB baseball that summer his starting job would not be waiting for him.

Sean Glennon was then named the starter.

Pretty limiting description as this seldom happens.

Wasn't Miller on the Heisman watch list before the season started and he was injured? How can LSU fans be questioning this transfer, you should be fully on board with this, if it in-fact happens.

Oh, I'm all for it.

I was just answering the OP. QBs who lose their starting job with a year of eligibility left are generally few and far between.

And you are probably one of those guys that says we can't criticize our juniors for jumping to the NFL because no one could resist all that money.

All these quarterback's are doing is trying to get a last chance to impress the pro scouts. How many players come to LSU with that being their ultimate goal?

How many players do you think come to LSU just because they are big fans, love the school and want to do everything they can for us without any thought for themselves?

I used that post to try and get the OP to answer my question. IT appears he doesn't want this.

He must be one of those guys who secretly wants LSU to have a horrible season so Miles is fired.
