Made a bet with my cousin that Michigan and Ohio state will be in the final 4. How likely is that?

My thoughts is big 12, PAC 12.and non power 5 beat each other up or not a better team than big ten 2. Fsu n bama look head over heels better than everyone in their conference

I think its highly unlikely since they play each other very late in the season but who knows what the committee is looking at.

What kind of bet? Did you get at least 10-1?

My thought is a 1 loss Michigan has more appeal than a 2 loss Stanford or 1 loss Houston

Supposedly, the committee emphasizes conference champs. Unless you get a 2006 situation where Michigan loses a #2 vs #1 game by 3, and a whole shitload of other things go horribly wrong for other teams, you have no chance.

Very unlikely to happen, the commitee will not want to put two teams from the same conference in.

THis is the only scenario it happens:

1. Michigan and Ohio State are both undefeated when they play.

2. The team that loses loses a very close game at the end.

3. Many of the other conference champions have 2 losses.

If all those things happened, you COULD see two teams from the same conference in.

You mentioned scenarios of why see it happening. Other thing I see is trying to create a harbaugh Saban rival.

The reason why its possible 2 teams could get in from the Big 10 this year is due to other conferences shitting the bed. The Pac-12 is looking like the wild west and the Big 12 is having a down year. The SEC has a lot of good teams but I just down see a single SEC team besides Bama coming out with 1 loss or less this year.
